Hasui Kawase's Meguro Fudo Temple is a masterclass in restraint. This 1950s composition captures the temple's austere elegance with a minimal palette of greys, blacks, and pale blues—the kind of Japanese art print that sits quietly on your wall and rewards looking at it.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks and professional giclée printing, so the subtle tonal shifts in Hasui's composition stay true across decades. Available in seven sizes from A4 right through to our oversized 70×100cm format, there's a scale to suit most spaces and walls.

Pair it unframed with existing décor, or opt for one of our solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate finishes for a gallery-ready finish. It works beautifully in bedroom wall art, dining rooms, and kitchens—anywhere you want a touch of contemplative Japanese aesthetics without fuss. This is the print you'll find yourself returning to on quiet mornings.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
