Add 4 21x30cm Prints to your cart, and we'll add 4 frames absolutely FREE!

Hasui Kawase's Phoenix Hall captures the serene symmetry of Byodo Temple in Uji with the restraint and precision that made him one of Japan's finest woodblock print artists. This Japanese art print rewards quiet looking—the geometric reflection, the subtle gradation of tone, the way emptiness becomes as important as form.

We've reproduced it on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks and professional giclée printing, so it'll hold its character for decades. Pick from seven sizes ranging from A4 up to our expansive 70x100cm, and if you'd like it ready to hang, we frame them in solid wood—black, white, natural oak or gold ornate finishes, all glazed and dispatch-ready.

Rolled carefully in a protective tube and sent from Newcastle, it arrives in pristine condition. Whether hung alone in a hallway or layered into gallery walls of Japanese prints, or placed in a bedroom for restful morning light, it brings the kind of composed elegance that never dates—a reminder that sometimes what you don't show is what makes a room feel complete.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
