This 1826 engraving by Young and Delleker captures the world's principal mountains as Victorian cartographers understood them—a fascinating snapshot of geographical knowledge from nearly two centuries ago. The hand-coloured detail and precise engraving reveal genuine craftsmanship, with each peak rendered in the style that made antique maps both scientifically ambitious and genuinely beautiful.

Whether you're drawn to historical cartography, geography, or simply the aesthetic of aged paper and careful linework, this print rewards a closer look. It invites conversation about how our understanding of the world has evolved, and fits naturally into a home office print collection or as a focal point above a kitchen wall.

We've printed it on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, so it'll hold its character for decades. Available in five sizes from A4 up to 70×100cm, unframed or ready-mounted in your choice of frame finishes. Displayed on a feature wall, it brings a scholarly, well-travelled quality that speaks to curiosity and time.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
