This Japanese landscape print captures a scene of serene restraint—Hasui Kawase's Shinkubo, Hachinohe rendered with the kind of quiet that makes a room feel intentional. Whether you're furnishing a bedroom wall with understated art or looking for something considered for your dining space or hallway, this composition brings calm without demanding attention.

We print it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée and archival pigment inks—they're fade-resistant for decades, so the tones stay faithful long-term. Seven sizes available: A4, A3, A2, A1, 50x70cm, 70x100cm, and 100x150cm, so there's a scale for every wall.

Dispatched from our Newcastle studio rolled safely in a protective tube, or select a frame at checkout—black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate finishes, all glazed and ready to hang. Browse more work from the same tradition in our collection of Japanese art prints.

On your wall, Kawase's restrained brushwork becomes the kind of moment you'll notice in the quiet hours of the morning.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
