This heron illustration by Elena Pavlovna Gertik is a beautiful reproduction of the Russian artist's original work, first published in her celebrated colouring albums for young readers. Gertik's precise, naturalistic style has a timeless quality that works equally well in a child's room, a study, or hung above kitchen shelves—there's an understated elegance to her birds that transcends age and décor.

We've printed it on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée printing and archival pigment inks, so the soft yellows and neutral tones will retain their warmth for decades. Six sizes are available, from A4 up to 70×100cm, so you can choose the scale that suits your space. Every print arrives rolled in a protective tube, ready to frame or display unframed.

If you'd like it finished and wall-ready, we offer solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak and gold ornate finishes—all glazed and ready to hang. This heron sits naturally alongside our other vintage-style animal prints, or stands alone as a focal point. Gertik's elegant composition brings a sense of stillness and observation to wherever it hangs.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
