The Slay Reindeer print takes a classic nineteenth-century-style natural history illustration and gives it a gloriously cheeky festive twist. A dignified reindeer stands in a soft, misty woodland clearing, but this is no ordinary woodland creature: its antlers are draped in red, green and silver tinsel, and a sparkling red disco-ball nose completes the look. Above it, a single bold word in hot pink Gothic lettering says it all: "Slay".

What makes this design so special is the contrast. The muted, painterly palette of sage greens, warm creams and soft browns feels calm and traditional, while the vivid pink lettering and the glittering baubles-and-tinsel styling inject humour and attitude. The elegant blackletter-style typography sits perfectly against the gentle backdrop of frosted evergreens, giving the whole piece the feel of a vintage Christmas card that has been hijacked by a very confident reindeer. It is a funny Christmas wall art idea that still looks stylish enough to stay on display well into the new year.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
