The Duke of Wellington Statue with Traffic Cone print reimagines one of Glasgow's best-loved sights in the swirling, thick-brushed style of a post-impressionist painting. The bronze Duke sits astride his horse outside the Gallery of Modern Art, wearing his famously mischievous traffic cone, and the whole scene is rendered in rich, expressive strokes of blue and yellow.

What makes this design so special is the contrast between grandeur and humour. Towering fluted columns glow in buttery yellows and deep cobalt blues, the sky and stonework ripple with energetic brushwork, and a lone seagull perches on the horse's rump, adding a perfectly Glaswegian touch. The result is a playful, characterful piece that celebrates a city icon while feeling like a gallery-worthy painting. A hand-lettered title at the foot of the artwork completes the poster-style look.

Choose your size and frame, and it is delivered ready to display.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
