This botanical study captures the delicate structure and luminous green of the Eranthemum leaf with the precision that made Alexander Francis Lydon's work so revered. Every vein, every subtle shift in tone is rendered with scientific accuracy, yet there's an undeniable artistry in how the composition draws your eye across the page. The matte finish lets the leaf breathe without glare, making it feel less like decoration and more like a genuine piece of natural history you've uncovered.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using professional giclée techniques and archival pigment inks, the detail holds up beautifully across all our sizes—from A4 right through to A1. We've been selling botanical prints and nature wall art online for over a decade from our Newcastle base, and this is the kind of piece that rewards close looking whether you're viewing it from across the room or standing right in front of it.

It settles happily in a bedroom, hallway or living room, and works particularly well grouped with other botanical studies for a proper gallery wall. Pair it with one of our solid wood frames in natural oak or black, or leave it unframed—the paper's weight and finish mean it stands on its own. All prints arrive rolled in a protective tube, dispatched from the UK with free delivery on orders over £60.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
