This Hasui Kawase woodblock print captures a serene moment on the Road to Nikko, rendered in the artist's signature restrained palette of soft blues, greys and muted greens. The composition draws you along a winding path through a Japanese landscape, with careful attention to atmospheric perspective and the play of light across the scene. It's a masterclass in simplicity and mood.

Printed on 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks and professional giclée techniques, this piece holds its subtlety and detail across all our sizes—from A4 up to our largest formats. The print maintains the contemplative quality that makes Japanese woodblock art so enduring, whether you choose to frame it or not.

It suits bedroom wall art, kitchens, dining rooms and living spaces equally well. Whether it's a standalone focal point or part of a gallery wall arrangement, this print works hard in any space. We've been sending wall art across the UK from Newcastle for over a decade, and this one arrives rolled and ready to hang—pair it with a solid wood frame in black, white, natural oak or gold ornate if you'd like, and free delivery is yours over £60.

There's something about Kawase's atmospheric restraint that turns a simple path into a moment of quiet discovery.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
