This vintage railway poster channels the romance of mid-century travel design, celebrating Durham in a style that feels plucked straight from a 1930s station platform. You're getting the full Ink & Drop treatment: professional giclée printing on 230gsm fine art paper with archival pigment inks that'll stay fade-resistant for decades. The catch? These are clearance prints—test runs, returns, and the occasional happy accident—priced to move because they're not quite perfect, even though most show no imperfections at all.

At 40x50cm, this sits in that sweet spot between A3 and A2: big enough to command a wall on its own, or small enough to build a gallery wall of vintage finds without maxing out your budget. Whether you choose a frame—solid wood in black, white, natural oak, or gold ornate finishes, all glazed and ready to hang—or go unframed to let the retro charm speak for itself, it's a proper piece of wall art that deserves space in a hallway, living room, or anywhere nostalgia for the golden age of rail travel feels at home.

We've been selling wall art online for over 10 years from Newcastle, and these clearance prints carry the same archival quality as our full-price stock. Nothing here we wouldn't hang in our own homes—the vintage aesthetic just happens to make any quirk feel part of the story.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
