This vintage world map by Gilmour and Dean presents the Western and Eastern Hemispheres in beautifully muted tones, captured in the fine detail of a classic engraved design. The neutral colour palette and antique aesthetic work quietly into any interior, whether your walls lean traditional or contemporary.

Printed on professional 230gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, the map arrives rolled in a protective tube ready for framing or display. If you'd like it wall-ready from the start, pair it with one of our solid wood frames in black, white, natural oak or gold finishes, and it'll reach you glazed and prepared to hang.

We've been selling wall art online for over a decade from our Newcastle base, and this print remains a consistent favourite. Browse our full selection of antique world maps and heritage cartography prints for more global geography to suit your space. The soft, scholarly charm of this particular map makes it feel less like decoration and more like a treasured discovery.

When you order a frame from us, it is professionally framed in our workshop and will arrive ready to hang on your wall. The frame itself is a minimal, square black frame, 20mm wide to suit any interior style. There is a visible wood grain as they are made from real wood. This makes them much stronger and resistant to warping like cheaper, MDF frames tend to.
