The York print is a vintage-style travel poster celebrating one of England's most beloved historic cities. York Minster rises above the rooftops in the distance, its towers and spires catching the golden light, while the ancient city walls lead the eye down a sunlit path towards the bustling streets below.

The artwork captures the character of York in a rich, painterly palette. Warm honey-coloured stone, red-brick townhouses and fresh green foliage sit beneath a soft blue sky streaked with peach-tinged clouds. A red double-decker bus, small figures strolling along the road and cars threading through the street bring everyday life to the scene, while the bold lettering and the line "The Heart of Old England" give it the unmistakable feel of a classic railway excursion poster. Minster spires, city walls, market streets and Yorkshire history are all celebrated in one nostalgic composition.
